Supply Base Operator / Warehouse Officer | Condabri / Miles The Role A Supply Base Operator/Warehouse Officer effectively performs routine daily yard and warehouse operations. This primarily involves assisting the Supervisor and Senior Supply Base Officers in daily operations including, freight receivables and forwarding, freight packing and other yard and warehouse operations. The Supply Base Operator will be required to operate a range of equipment, including hand tools and forklifts. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading of vehicles (including general and specialised freight) Packing and unpacking of containers, crates, boxes, pallets etc Perform Customer order Non-Conformance process. Correct use of Inventory Management & Ordering System Preparing freight for transport by road, sea, or air Accurate and timely completion and processing of all transport and logistics paperwork (connotes, manifests, etc) Perform Goods Receivable process (put away) Perform Goods Issue / Picking process Perform Customer Inventory Reconciliation process Operate mobile data terminals (MDT) Checking inbound and outbound manifests for accuracy and quality Restrain loads on vehicles and in containers to appropriate standards. Stuffing and de-stuffing of containers Inspection, maintenance and/or cleaning of containers and slings Cleaning of yard equipment and customer materials using high pressure cleaners. Maintain yard and external operating areas in a safe, efficient, and tidy manner. Pre-slinging containers and materials for delivery Dangerous Goods Handling and Transport when required. Be prepared to undertake any other task that may be reasonably required from time to time for which you can perform.
